I know when you think big party on Friday night, you do not necessarily think American rap music. In fact for most people American rap music is often at the bottom of their list of music choices. The top choice is Indian hip-hop and then EDM. Some parties will also have some choice Ed Sheeran thrown in there.

But American rap music is the best choice for any party. With its thick beats and fire lyrics it will spice up any party you attend.

Well then lets get started!!

  • Wu-Tang Clan

Top of any list that involves American rap is the Wu Tang Clan. Active since 1993, they are the epitome of East Coast rap music. The mix of RZA produced beats and the lyrics of GZA, Raekwon and Method Man mean that any party they are played at will go through the damn roof. Their use of different instruments means that they can provide anything from a slow song for a nice dance to a EDM style heavy beat rap.

Members: RZA, GZA, Ghostfaced Killah, Raekwon, Method Man, Inspecta Deck, Cappadonna, Ol’ Dirty Bastard(deceased).

Some hits include:

Cream, by the Wu-Tang Clan

Shadowboxing, by Gza feat Method Man

Wu Banga 101, by the Wu-Tang Clan

and finally my personal favorite, Gravel Pit by the Wu-Tang Clan
