After Tanushree Dutta, many women have finally started to come out in the open and call out names of sexual predators. Recently, filmmaker Natasha Rathore and Ira Trivedi accused Suhel Seth of sexual harassment, and now model and former Bigg Boss contestant Diandra Soares has come forward to narrate her #MeToo story.
By way of a Facebook post, 39-year-old Diandra narrated her story when she was at a fashion week after party a few years ago in Delhi, when the incident took place. “I was in DELHI few years ago for bridal fashion week. And at one of the after party for a show at our hotel itself at a bar. While we were at the VIP section with all of the fashion frat, socialites etc. In attendance, I was dancing on a couch & out of nowhere Suhel Seth shoves his fucking tongue down my mouth. I immediately bit his tongue & bit it really really hard with all my might & anger. Oh I also grabbed his B***S & squeezed it hard & refused to let GO. He looks at me like a lil child , like a boy bewildered and with feelings all hurt & says “You bit me really hard !!!” (In baby voice no less ) While he was holding his tongue still looking absolutely innocent & hurt at MY behaviour. I was ready to pound the motherfucker into the ground right there & then,” Diandra wrote on Facebook.
In her post, Diandra also talked about the current Me Too movement exploding the nation and how it motivated her to come out in the open and narrate her story. Diandra said that she chose to speak about her ordeal now because her heart bleeds when she reads the stories about the harrowing experiences women had to go through. And now, that she has called out the accused, she is not scared if Suhel files a defamation case against her.
At a time when Tanushree Dutta and Vinta Nanda are lodging police complaints against the perpetrators, Diandra is yet to decide her course of action. “I have already spoken my truth but I haven’t thought of further course of action yet as I was bombarded (with calls) all day. I will figure out due process in time,” Diandra told Mumbai Mirror.
